The graphics and other elements, like characters, balls, and caddies, are wacky, but underneath the surface is a solid golf game. Even playing on easy mode, reaching par can be a struggle in the more difficult courses. There are lots of clubs and balls to choose from, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It takes awhile to unlock items because you have to earn points to obtain them. Despite all this, I would recommend this to a casual player because you can play courses you've earned access to by trying to beat your score, with or without computerized opponents.
