Deal or No Deal is a game show that requires no skill, such as answering trivia questions or performing stunts. Each contestant simply picks numbered suitcases, ranging from 1 to 26. The first suitcase the participant selects is what the game's banker wants to buy for as least money as possible. $1,000,000 dollars is the highest amount that can be won, so unless otherwise revealed, the banker assumes there is the maximum amount of money in the case. If the contestant chooses suitcases with high monetary value, the offer goes down. Likewise, if a player lands on low amounts, which start at one penny, he or she is rewarded with more money. Some choose to cash their chips, so to speak, and take a deal, not wanting to risk having their offer decreased. When a game comes to the point where there are only two suitcases left, the contestant must choose between the one they singled out at the beginning or one left over. If the case selected at the start of the show has a high number, the player has what is called a "good offer."
